Story starts when my company ask me to install Linux Gateway so we can restrict site access within our company. We need to that as we are noticing very heavy data transfer is occuring within organization for illegal purpose.
For this though I have option to set WIndows server, but I opt for Linux machine with Squid as our proxy server. I have install squid with squidguard perviously and that run fine for 3-4 months, but I got few problem with this setup. It usually is very slow process on even 1 GB ram system, with no other processing and only 30 user at max using system at any given time.
So this time I opt to use Squid only, and no squidGuard. Server is almost ready with help of this Article thanks to Vivek for his great work and sharing it with us.

Lot of useful information on this site. And they have another article that show you how to configure Squid as well, if you don’t know how to do that .
